The Weinstein JCC’s Camp Hilbert is one of few local summer day camps that offer canoeing, archery, swim lessons, arts & crafts, pottery, 8 different sports, along with field trips, overnights, camping trips, and special performers every session. Camp Hilbert resides on a peaceful 110 acres in a rustic camp setting. We have a beautiful lake for canoeing, an archery range, hiking trails, and a sparkling pool for lessons and free swim. Camp Hilbert is an established camp with great camp traditions and an outstanding staff. Visit us just once, and you will wish you had brought your tent!
Camp Hilbert prides itself on safety and quality programming. Our child-to-staff ratio is 8:1, and our staff are CPR and First-Aid certified through the American Red Cross. In addition, our pool and lake are under the direction of a certified Water Safety Instructor who supervises our lifeguards. If that’s not enough, we also have a full-time EMT on staff who is always on campus to take care of all of our little bumps, bites and bruises. Furthermore, Camp Hilbert provides transportation at no additional cost. Parents love the convenience of our “pick-up spots” across Richmond, Southside and the West End. We will take their children directly to and from Camp Hilbert daily. Nowhere else in Richmond can you find such outstanding daily programming, special events, special performers, and a trained staff with our level of energy, enthusiasm, and passion.
Every summer, campers come back and look forward to improving their archery skills, taking a relaxing canoe trip on beautiful Lake Rosalie, creating arts and crafts, learning about nature on our hiking trails, and competing in our structured athletic program that teaches skill development, sportsmanship, and team participation.
