Preschool at the Weinstein JCC

Alive with Imagination

Weinstein JCC Early Childhood Program is excited to present our parent platform, Brightwheel.

Brightwheel is an application that teachers use to capture the essence of classroom activities and strengthen relationships between home and school. Teachers use Brightwheel to record photos and video of important classroom activities, and share them with families. The application is also used to update child/family information throughout the year.

The Brightwheel App is how you receive photos, videos, and messages! Simply download the app from the App Store or Google Play. You will be sent an invitation to join Brightwheel via email when you begin the admission process.

Why Our School Uses Brightwheel

Our school is using Brightwheel to give you a window into your children’s school life and accomplishments. By getting visual updates, you will be able to continue conversations around the day’s activities, and connect with your children over their learning experiences. Our school is also using Brightwheel to digitally document your children’s growth as they progress throughout the year.

Privacy and Security

Privacy and security is a mission-critical requirement for the Brightwheel system. Brightwheel serves hundreds of early education programs across the country – it is their only business and there is nothing they take more seriously than the security of the data and media managed on our behalf. Media captured in the system is ultra-secure and never used for any purpose outside of your school’s communication and classroom documentation.

What You Will Receive

As a parent in our system, you will receive pictures, videos, and message updates from your child’s teacher. Unlike conventional updates, these are hyper customized, and feature only material relevant to your family. This information can be received via text message and our Brightwheel App. All of the moments you receive are available for download, and are yours to keep forever.
