There are several opportunities for seniors to come together and socialize. There are options for just men, just women and mixed groups as well. Come sing, play games, drink coffee, learn or just come enjoy the company. Whatever your interest, we probably have it covered.

Senior Adult Cafe
Drop by the Selma and Jacob Brown Senior Center and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee and
schmoozing. Play cards or board games, watch a movie, read a book or enjoy your lunch.
Open daily 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Women’s Room
Age 50+
Facilitator: Shari Menlowe-Barck
A unique, cultural and educational discussion group for women that explores a variety of topics. Bring your lunch at 12:00 and socialize with us!
Mondays, 1:00 p.m.
$20 M / $35 NM (per session)
$65 M – pay for whole year at one time!

5400 Men’s Club
President: Robert Chubin
Dynamic retired and semi-retired men meet and socialize once a week. Bring your lunch at 12:00 p.m. and socialize. There is a program or guest speaker every week, and once a month a luncheon meeting is held. Co-ed meetings with Women’s Room 1-2 times per month.

Grand Group
Ages 60+
This co-ed social group is for those who like to have fun and make new friends. Meet for social activities and special events. Bring your lunch. Dessert and beverage are provided. Exercise program included 11 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Transportation is available and outings are held monthly for an additional fee. Call Shari Menlowe-Barck at 545-8611 for more details.

Jewish Studies Class
Join us for interesting and exciting discussions on the Parsha (weekly Torah portion), history, and Jewish topics each week with several of the community’s Rabbis and learned volunteers. You don’t have to be Jewish to participate. Just have a thirst for knowledge!

Grand Tones

This co-ed senior’s choral group incorporates singing and socialization, with monthly community performances. Grand Group and Weinstein JCC membership required.
