Pool Rules

1. Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
2. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times.
3. Children who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper in the pool.
4. Bathing suits are required in the pool. No cut-off or gym shorts permitted.
5. No swimming without a lifeguard on duty.
6. No gum, food or drink in the pool area.
7. Glass containers are not permitted in the pool area.
8. Smoking is not permitted in the pool area.
9. No jumping or diving into the pool.
10. No running in the pool area.
11 Excessive horseplay will not be tolerated.
12 Pool equipment (kicks boards, pull-buoys, swim fins, aqua belts, pool toys etc.)
will be allowed at the discretion of the lifeguard.
13. Only Coast Guard approved flotation devices are permitted in the pool.
14. The pool phones are off limits to guests. For emergency use only.
15. Only staff members are permitted in the pool offices and storage closets.
16. No excessive talking to lifeguard on duty.
17. Persons with open sores, skin infections or wearing bandages are not permitted in the pool.
18. Proper swim etiquette must be followed in the lap pool.
19. No hanging on lane lines, ropes or diving blocks.
20. At the first sign of thunder or lightening, the pool will close for 15 minutes. Each additional clap of     thunder or lightening will delay the re-opening 15 minutes from that point.
21. The Weinstein JCC is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
22. The lifeguards and or directors have the authority to enforce the above rules. At any time, an individual may be asked to leave the pool area if they are in violation.

Must be 42 inches tall
Must go down feet first
Flat on back
Arms crossed over chest
Feet crossed at ankles
Only 1 person on slide at a time
Exit water immediately after sliding
Persons in line wait until previous person follows to side of pool
Do not run up the stairs to top of slide
Do not lean over rails
No parent may take his/her child down the slide

Must go down feet first
No children may climb up the slide
Small children must be attended by an adult
