There are several opportunities for seniors to come together and socialize. There are options for just men, just women and mixed groups as well. Come sing, play games, drink coffee, learn or just come enjoy the company. Whatever your interest, we probably have it covered.

Drop by the Selma and Jacob Brown Senior
Center and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee and
schmoozing. Play cards or board games, watch a
movie, read a book or enjoy your lunch.

Women’s Room
Age 50+
Facilitator: Barbara Shocket
A unique, cultural and educational discussion
group for women that explores a variety of topics.
Bring your lunch at 12:00 and socialize with us!

5400 Men’s Club
President: Robert Gomperts
Dynamic retired and semi-retired men meet and
socialize once a week. There is a program or
guest speaker every week, and once a month a
luncheon meeting is held.

Grand Group
Ages 60+
This co-ed social group is for those who like to
have fun and make new friends. Meet for social
activities and special events. Bring your lunch.
Dessert and beverage are provided. Exercise
program included. Transportation is available
and outings are held monthly for an additional

Grand Tones

This co-ed senior’s choral group incorporates
singing and socialization, with monthly community
performances. Grand Group and Weinstein JCC
membership required.

Senior Fridays
Ages 55+
Bring a bag lunch and come join us in the Selma
and Jacob Brown Senior Center on Fridays.
Activities change each week. Bingo, current
events, book club, and music appreciation are
just some of our activities. Is there something
you would like our group to do? New ideas are

Russian Friendship Club
Bi-monthly exciting happenings that range from
parties and speakers at the Weinstein JCC to
shows and outings in the community. Open to all
interested in Russian culture and language. Low
cost transportation is available. For more information
