JCC Maccabi Games® 2008
For Jewish teens age 13-16 as of July 31, 2008
The JCC Maccabi Games® welcomes thousands of athletes from the United States and abroad for a week of athletic competition, community service, and social activities. Teens participate in team and individual athletic competitions with their home delegation, and are home-housed by families from the host community. JCC Maccabi ArtsFest® 2008
For Jewish teens entering grades 8-12 in Fall 2008
JCC Maccabi ArtsFest® is designed to inspire Jewish teens through a dynamic combination of workshop, performance, exhibition, recognition of excellence, community service, social activities, and fun. Teens develop their individuality through the medium of artistic expression while strengthening their bonds to their Jewish heritage, community and Israel. Like the JCC Maccabi Games, there are social events every evening, and the program is home-housed. This summer, Richmond will be traveling to Fairfax, Virginia on Jul. 27-Aug. 1.
