The JCC Maccabi Games® are a six-day Olympicstyle athletic competition for Jewish teens from around the world. In addition to sports, the athletes experience home hospitality and social events with their peers, as well as community service and educational opportunities. JCC Maccabi Experience® 2011 – Israel
Sunday, July 24 – August 5, 2011
For ages 14 – 17 (as of July 31, 2011)
Please join us for the first ever JCC Maccabi Experience® in Israel! Teens from across the country will travel to Israel from New York City to be a part of this fantastic 2 WEEK event. Teens will also Shabbat weekend in our sister city, Emek Hefer. The JCC Maccabi Games® will feature boys and girls basketball, boys and girls soccer, girls volleyball, bowling, tennis, table tennis, and swimming.
The JCC Maccabi ArtsFest® will feature culinary arts, rock music, broadcast journalism, visual arts, dance, photography, acting/improve, and jazz music. A number of venues will be utilized including areas in the Galil and the Wingate Institute near Netanya, and K’far Maccabiah in Ramat Gan. The participants will also be touring in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and the Negev.
