Community Purim Festival!
Sunday, March 8 - 12:30 - 3:15pm - Purim Shpiel at 3:15pm
Free and open to the community. Games, goodie bags, food, music by Klezm'OrAmi'm, Family Fun Challenge, Inflatables and Clowns. Costume contest at 2:00 pm in the Israel November Auditorium; Beth Ahabah Purim Shpiel at 3:15pm in the Israel November Auditorium. Please join us for a celebration of giving, where this year the prizes go to charity.  Please bring canned food items for our food drive. 

Intergenerational Model Seder
Friday, March 20 - 10:30am - 1:00pm
Join us for this special JCC Senior Adult event.  Seder meal catered by Pick-Ups Plus.  Beautiful model seder will be led by the 7th and 8th grade students of the Rudlin Torah Academy.  $13 M / $14.50 NM to reserve your seat.  RSVP by Friday, March 13, 2009.  Seating is limited to 50 seniors, low-cost transportation is available.  Please call Shari Menlowe-Barck at 545-8611 to RSVP.

Summer Camp Registration going on NOW!
The Weinstein JCC has summer camp fun for all ages and interests. From a general recreational day camp on 110 acres in Goochland County with instructional and free swim (transportation included); a camp for preschoolers at the Weinstein JCC; and over 40 weekly specialty camps including water week, art, karate, gymnastics, drama, tennis and more!

Indoor Soccer League
On Sundays, 12:45 - 6:30pm depending on age group.  For ages 5 - 13
Skill Evaluation: Sunday, April 12
Season: April 19 - May 31
This league is designed with skill development and fun as the focus. Each participant receives a soccer jersey and trophy. Practice prior to each game will be facilitated by volunteer coaches. All games are played on Sundays at the Weinstein JCC. Sign up early! Volunteers needed for coaching. Limited space in each division. Preschool Registration for 2009 - 2010 School Year
Applications are available in the Preschool Office or the Centeral Services Desk. Registration materials may be turned in at the appropriate dates listed below:

Monday, March 9 - Friday, March 13: Registration open ONLY to children currently enrolled in Preschool and their siblings.

Monday, March 16 - Friday, March 20: Registration is open to new students whose siblings are "graduates" of the preschool, to new students whose families have been Weinstein JCC members since September 2008, children of Great Beginnings who have been enrolled since September 2008, and those currently enrolled in Camp Ganim 2009.

Friday, March 27 at 8:30am in the Preschool Lobby: Registration begins for all students who are "new" to our program.

Dolphin Summer Swim Team
May 3 - June 11, Ages 5 - 18
Join the fun! Join the Dolphin Club Swim Team and be part of a winning team. Learn new skills; meet new friends while perfecting what you may already know. Practices are offered every day Monday through Friday; some morning, some afternoons, something for everyone. We also offer practice for the campers at Camp Hilbert.  Come be a part of a tradition of Dolphin Club Swimming and the Weinstein JCC.  Most swim meets take place on Wednesday nights in June and July.  $115 M / $165 NM per child. For more information contact Kim Field at 545-8650 or kfield@weinsteinjcc.org. 

Birthright Trip to Israel - Registration is Now Open
Through the JCCA, JCC Maccabi Israel® offers a special opportunity – at no cost – to visit Israel for a ten-day trip that touches on so many meaningful sites, sounds and senses.  The next round of trips for the spring and summer are open for registration now.  This program is open to those with the following qualifications:

• Young Jewish adults, ages 18-26 (some 27 year-olds are also being accepted – JCCTravel trips are focusing on 21+)
• No prior organized tour in Israel (exceptions may be made for March of the Living, UJA/Synagogue Family Trips/Missions, Maccabiah Games, and possible other programs)
• Valid passport and $250.00 refundable deposit
