MAJOR RENOVATION NEWS! - Beginning July 6
For 2 - 3 weeks beginning July 6, the Weinstein JCC's Fitness Center will be closed for renovation. When it re-opens all members will have:
- All new mats and accessories for the stretching area and group fitness classes
- 16 new cycle (spin) bikes
And all Fitness Center members will have
- Over 90 new pieces of equipment and a brand new floor in the Fitness Center

We'd like to have everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful renovations so until the end of September all members can try outthe fitness center for 2 weeks! Bring in the coupon that you received in the mail or, if you don't have a coupon, stop by the Membership Office and they'll give you one. If you find you can't get enough of the Fitness Center we have great specials to offer:
If you join the Fitness Center for 6 months you get 1 month free
If you join the Fitness Center for 12 months you get 2 months free
50 Years of Memorabilia
This year the Weinstein JCC is celebrating 50 years on Monument Avenue. On Sunday, September 14 we will be having a community-wide celebration as a culmination of this celebration. For this event we are asking for your help in collecting memories and memorabilia - from preschool to seniors and everything in-between. Please share any items or photos that you may have from the following:
Preschool, Camp Hilbert, Children's Program (Dance, Theater, etc.), BBYO, High School Fraternities and Sororities, JCC Maccabi Games, Adult Socials, Senior Programs, Sports Leagues, Community-wide Events, and everything else.
These items can be turned into Scott Katz or Allison Lancaster at the Weinstein JCC. Photographs can be scanned and returned if requested. We are collecting now so stop by and share your memories with us.
Weinstein JCC's 2009 Annual Directory
A letter about updating your address and phone information in the 2009 Directory will be in homes soon. Please make sure to fill out the form completely and send if there are changes in your information or you do not wish to be listed.
There is also always the opportunity to advertise in the Weinstein JCC Community Directory. Summer Swim Lessons
Don't miss out on learning how to or improving your swimming skills. Sign up now for group or private lessons whether your 3 or 103. Summer Camps
It's that time of year again! Sign your child up for any of our wonderful camps - we have something for all ages and interests! Camp Ganim is for the preschooler (ages 2 - 5), Camp Hilbert is for the adventurous K - 8 grader that likes the outdoors and wants to spend their time swimming, playing Gaga and learning "the ropes" at our 110-acre day camp facility (transportation provided). Specialty Camps is for the K - 8 grader that is looking for something a little different each week; from art to cooking, to tennis to soccer.
