Become a Host or Volunteer for the 2010 JCC Maccabi Games®
As you may already know, the Weinstein JCC will be hosting the 2010 JCC Maccabi Games® this summer. This is our third time hosting this event and it will be held August 1 - 6, 2010. The JCC Maccabi Games® are a transformative experience for Jewish teens and provide a unique opportunity to integrate sports with Jewish values and the development of Jewish identity.

Home hospitality is one of the key components of the Games and an integral part of each athlete's experience. The other vital piece that makes the games successful both to the athletes and the hosting city is the many volunteers needed to carry out this endeavor.

We would love your help to make this years Games a unique and special event for all of our visiting athletes.

Athletes will arrive on Sunday, August 1st and will be leaving on Friday, August 6th. The requirements for hosting include the following:
- Provide one bed per athlete (air mattresses are fine)
- Provide breakfast daily
- Allow them to do laundry daily
- Provide dinner on Sunday and Tuesday
- Tuesday is Host Family Night
- Drop off in the morning at Godwin or other venues
- Pick up after evening activities (Mon., Wed., & Thurs.)

If you have any other questions, you can visit the Games web site at www.MaccabiRichmond.com or call Morgan Santos at x3639.
