The Case for Israel-Democracy Outpost

Gloria Z. Greenfield & Michael Yohav produced this documentary to present a vigorous case for Israel - for its basic right to exist, to protect its citizens from terrorism, and to defend its borders from hostile enemies-in a highly accessible multimedia format. Alan Dershowitz has achieved international distinction as one of Israel’s most prominent and articulate advocates and plays a central role in this documentary.
Co sponsored by the Richmond Council for Jewish Education.

Did you know that the Weinstein JCC provides scholarship money for 25% of the members children who are in preschool, after school care and summer camp?

Scholarships last year increased by 30% to over $132,000 agency wide.  This year we are projecting the needs for scholarship assistance topping $175,000.

We therefore must ask for your help in donating to this years Friends of the Center Campaign.  We need to come together as a community and take care of our Weinstein JCC family.  These include:
•    A couple with 3 children that were both laid off and are looking for jobs
•    A grandmother who is raising her 6 year old grand-child by herself
•    A couple with 2 children that ran a small business that failed and are now both looking for jobs

This year, all funds raised from this Friends of the Center Campaign will go directly into scholarships for our Weinstein JCC families.

Our primary goal is participation.
Your support at any level will make a difference.

•    $180 will give a teen with mental and physical challenges the opportunity to participate in the Teen Circle of Friends for one year
•    $360 donation provides one month of after school care in Kid’s Place
•    $720 pays for a portion of a child’s preschool tuition

Donations are fully tax-deductible.  We offer a beautiful name recognition wall in our Richard A. Arenstein Lobby for donors of $180 and higher.
