Journeys in the Talmud

As one of the most complex and intriguing books in ancient Jewish literature, the Babylonian Talmud (written in c.500 AD) is so much more than simply a code of Jewish law. In this class we will be exploring the fascinating world of the Talmud by looking at a variety of texts focusing on Jewish law, legends, philosophy, customs and history.

The Grandparent’s Circle

The Grandparents Circle is a much needed education and support program for Jewish grandparents whose adult children have intermarried. In this five session program we will offer grandparents skills and techniques to nurture, and in some cases help establish, their interfaith grandchildren’s Jewish identities. It also provides participants with a supportive and open-minded environment to share their achievements, express their frustrations, and acknowledge their challenges.
