Weinstein JCC Annual Silent Auction
March 11 -  March 17 - Last day of Silent Auction is also Comedy Night!
This year the Weinstein JCC Silent Auction has over 100 more items than previous years!  Come bid on the wide selection of high-end merchandise, food, services and getaways.  This promises to be an exciting Silent Auction with the final bidding wrapping up 8:15 - 9:00pm on Saturday, March 17th before Comedy Night begins at 9:00pm that night. 

Funds raised support programs and services for all ages at the Weinstein JCC including one of Richmond's most respected preschools, after school care program, youth leagues, scholarships for needy families and activities for senior adults.

2007 WEINSTEIN JCC SILENT AUCTION SNEAK PREVIEW

§          LASIK Surgery on two eyes.  Performed and donated by: Garth Stevens, MD- The Eye Care Center of Virginia. Dr. Stevens is a Board certified Ophthalmologist who began performing Laser Vision Correction in 1995. In addition to performing over a thousand Laser surgeries, he has trained hundreds of eye surgeons throughout the United States.

§          Art Work - Signed, numbered print by Sabzi valued at $2,500; original watercolors by Morton Gulak; prints by Tony Karp; ceramics by Rhona Arenstein & Richard Mc Cord & “Snap-Art by Nancy Shocket Levin… and more.

§          One dozen 100% cotton T-shirts imprinted with one color on one side.  Great for reunion, birthday or team. Shirts are white or light colored. 

§          Maytag Neptune large capacity, front load washing machine.  Outstanding cleaning through stain removal, remarkable energy and water savings, and clothes that look newer longer! Delivery included.

§          Rest, relax and bask in the sun during a one week stay at 'A Shore Thing' beach house at the Currituck Club in Corolla, NC.  Donated by: Nathan & Nannette Shor.   

§          Preschool parents - you won’t want to miss bidding on special artwork done by each member of each preschool class at the JCC. Items include a special etching created by all of the children in Susan & PJ’s class; a large flower pot decorated with photographs of each child in Andy & Shenandoah’s class; a hand-sewn quilt consisting of self- portrait panels drawn by each child in Sharon & Jeanine’s class; hand-painted set of notecards- each is unique as it holds the handprint of an individual child by Kara & Patricia’s class. 

§          Congressman Eric Cantor invites 4 people to the United States Capitol for photos and a visit with the Congressman, lunch in the exclusive Members’ Dining Room, and a private, guided, VIP tour of the Capitol.  

§          NBC 12 Meteorologist Andrew Freiden will visit your child's school.  Your child’s elementary class will jump right to the head of the schedule for a morning with Richmond’s most requested Meteorologist.  NBC-12 has donated your session for a Grade 2 – 5 visit from Freiden who will lead a special weather session and discussion with your child’s class.
